Sister's Keeper
We hold monthly sessions for Black women and girls as part of the Sister's Keeper series. These sessions cover a range of topics that contribute to our collective healing.
Our first session was led by Dr Michelle Asantewa who facilitated a transformative session with our group, focusing on 'The Power of the Divine Feminine'
The Book Club (currently on hold)
The Book Club was put together to put the fun back into reading as a community! Over the last year, we have had several conversations with our community about the culture of reading and how our reading habits have changed due to factors like the coronavirus pandemic, time constraints, lack of representation, and more.
Many of the conversations we have had about reading inspired us at House Of Lavender to create a space to bring our community together to read and discuss books and their impact on us.
